Improv Asylum offers a theater and bar room in the North End. Laugh Boston brings a comedy-club setting to the Seaport. The Asylum CoLab offers a flexible General Assembly Room near North Station. Your guest count, preferred date, and program will help us recommend the right venue and layout.
Can we rent a venue without booking a comedy show?
Yes. You can rent a space for your own reception, meeting, speaker program, or member event. A customized improv show or stand-up performance is an option, and we can help you decide how entertainment fits into your plans.
Can Improv Asylum customize a show for our alumni association?
Yes. Our performers can use details you share in advance, along with audience suggestions, to create a show inspired by your school or organization. Think campus memories, traditions, chapter stories, and shared experiences. We'll discuss the audience and appropriate tone with you beforehand.
Can you book a nationally known stand-up comedian?
Through Laugh Boston, we can help book national headliners, local favorites, and other professional stand-up comedians for private events. The available options depend on the performer's schedule, your date, budget, and audience. Share your ideas, and we'll explore the possibilities.
Are catering and AV included?
Our venues include AV for event essentials, and our team will confirm the equipment and setup available for your program. Catering and beverage options can be arranged around your group and venue; food and drink pricing will be outlined in your event proposal.
